Sealing and Fixing: Apply an appropriate amount of silicone sealant or structural adhesive to the back of the stainless steel niche and the back of the edging to ensure a firm fixation. For high-temperature environments, use high-temperature resistant silicone sealant.
Mounting and Adjustment: Gently push the stainless steel niche into the wall opening, ensuring no gaps around the edges. After installation, support the middle section with wooden sticks to prevent bending. Remove the supports after the sealant has dried completely.
Edge Finishing: After installation, finish the edges of the stainless steel niche by filling gaps with anti-mildew silicone sealant to ensure a neat appearance and prevent water seepage.
Material Selection: 304 stainless steel is preferred, as it has better corrosion resistance than 201 stainless steel and is suitable for humid environments. 201 stainless steel can be chosen if the budget is limited, but regular maintenance is required.
Color Matching: The color of the stainless steel niche should coordinate with the overall color scheme of the space. Choose from natural color, matte sandblasted finish, or matte black stainless steel, depending on the decorating style.
Surface Treatment: The surface should undergo PVD vacuum electroplating + fingerprint-resistant matte oil treatment to form a protective layer and prevent contact with corrosive products.
